About Bombay Chowpatty

Modeled on the street-food stands at Bombay's famous Chowpatty beach, Bombay Chowpatty does not disappoint. They've got everything from Bombay's famous 'chaat' (savory street food) to 'gola' (ice candy) and of course the ever popular 'masala chai' (spiced milk tea). While the place does come across as a bit pricey for the snacky 'street-food' type cuisine, it is one of the very few places in Doha that this kind of food is available.

This is perhaps the best Indian street food place in Doha but it is nothing like the stuff I have tried in India. And although it is supposed to be fast food, it isn't! These guys are slow... really really slow but heck beggars can't be choosers! Be warned that at times the ingredients used are stale.
