    GulfDine is an online dining guide for the city of Doha. It's a convenient source of restaurant information for anyone wishing to locate restaurants, delis or coffee shops in Doha.

  2. What kind of information does GulfDine.com have?

    The information listed on GulfDine is public domain information such as restaurant timings, phone numbers and details of services like takeaway, delivery, WiFi and live entertainment. Wherever possible, menus, driving directions, a map and restaurant pictures are also listed.

  3. What types of establishments are listed on GulfDine?

    GulfDine.com is "Doha's ultimate guide to eating out". Accordingly, we list all kinds of restaurants and eating places from small sandwich joints to five-star restaurants. Users have the option of filtering search results by restaurant-type if they so desire.

  4. Where is GulfDine based?

    GulfDine.com is part of the Athena Group Incorporated, registered in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. This website is directly run and controlled from the group head office in Tortola. All financial transactions with suppliers, advertisers and clients are conducted directly with the Athena Group head office in the British Virgin Islands. A local representative has been appointed in Qatar as a volunteer to supply information and communicate with clients.

  1. How can users search for information on GulfDine?

    Users can search by entering search keywords such as restaurant name, location or cuisine. Alternatively, the "Locate Restaurant" feature allows users to look for restaurants by selecting a combination of cuisine and location. For details, see the Using GulfDine page.

  2. How Many restaurants does GulfDine have?

    The list of restaurants on GulfDine is growing every week. The current number stands at 409. Check back next week and you'll probably see even more.

  3. How do I see a list of all the restaurants on GulfDine?

    In the "Locate Restaurant" box at the top of the page, just keep the default selections of "Any Cuisine" and "Any Zone" and click "Go!". An empty search will also show all the restaurants.

  4. Why should I sign up for a GulfDine.com account?

    By signing up for an account you can bookmark your favorite restaurants, share your ratings and comments with the GulfDine community and stay up to date with dining news by receiving the GulfDine newsletter. See more on the why sign up page.

  5. Can I give my ratings for restaurants?

    Absolutely. Just create an account and sign in with it, and you'll have access to the ratings and reviews options at the end of every restaurant page.

  6. How can I post my ratings and comments for a restaurant?

    To rate and comment on restaurants, you'll have to have a GulfDine account. Once you're signed into your account, go to the restaurant page and you'll find a rating and comment box at the bottom of the page. Here you can read what others have to say about that restaurant as well as leave your own comments and ratings.

  7. I don't see my favorite restaurant here. How can I tell you about it?

    Just go to the Suggest a Restaurant page and fill out the simple form, and we'll take care of the rest.

  1. Why should I get my restaurant listed on GulfDine?

    GulfDine attracts thousands of hungry users every month, who come looking for restaurant information. If a restaurant is listed on GulfDine, it gets more publicity every day and gains new customers who are easily and conveniently able to access the restaurant's details on the website including menus and takeaway/delivery contact numbers.

  2. How much does it cost to list a restaurant on GulfDine?

    Listing of restaurant information is completely FREE OF CHARGE, and there will never ever be a fee for the basic listing service. There will be paid advertising on the website, but that is in no way connected to the listing.

  3. How can I get my restaurant listed on GulfDine?

    Just go to the Restaurant Owners page and fill out the form over there. We'll get in touch with you and take down all the details of your restaurant and then put it up on GulfDine.

  4. What's in it for GulfDine.com?

    By listing as many restaurants as we can, GulfDine is able to provide our users with a more complete listing of all restaurants in Doha. A more complete database means more users for us, and more users mean more advertising revenue.

    GulfDine attracts thousands of hungry users every month who come looking for places to eat. By advertising on GulfDine.com, you can reach them at just the point they're looking for someone like you. If your restaurant is listed on GulfDine, users have to search for you before they see your page, but if you run an advertisement, they'll see your message no matter which page they're on.

  2. How much does it cost?

    Advertising on GulfDine is based on number of impressions and clicks. That is – how many times your ad is shown to users and how many times it gets clicked.   3. Can I try before I buy?

    Yes indeed. All new advertisers get one month of advertising completely FREE OF COST, with no obligation to continue advertising after the free period. So you've got absolutely nothing to lose.

  4. I don't have a banner. Can you create one for me?

    Absolutely. If you just let us know your message or special offer, we will create a banner ad for you at a small fee. And if you pick an extended advertising plan with us, we'll even create your banner ad totally free of cost.

  5. How will I know whether my advertising is working or not?

    At the end of each month, we'll send you a detailed analysis of the number of times your ad was seen, how often it got clicked upon and how effective your advertising was in comparison to the mean. You’ll get a very clear idea of your 'cost per eyeball' through this data.

  6. Why should I trust your numbers and analysis?

    The numbers are not generated by us, but by Google's trusted Analytics service.
